Awesome breakfast find just off Foley Square. Great upstairs area for working and reading.

I used to come here and stop by for sandwiches on my way to the bookstore. This place seems like it's open during the weekdays, but always is closed during the weekends. I guess it's primarily trying to target the office crowd? In any case, the hours are not fantastic or anything, since the weekend is not an option at all.
As for the food: it's just fine. The cook did to this one annoying thing though once with a sandwich, where he scraped up the crusty leftover bits from the grill and put it back on my sandwich, which looked super gross. Otherwise, I don't have any problem with this place.
I'm not confident the hours are correct, since I feel like this spot is never open on the weekends. -

I go here for lunch often. The guys behind the counter making good sandwiches are always nice & smiling.

One of my favorite lunch places! The hot bar is fresh and has a wide variety of food to choose from. The prices are great compared to other places in the area. I was able to get salmon and veggies for under $10. The upstairs seating area is quaint and perfect to just relax from work. I heard their beignets are pretty good by NY standards but haven't tried them myself.

Since I was suffering from missing New Orleans
I saw that is place sold Beignets, which are freshly made to order, with the dough and everything. Overall the beignets are decent and probably top 3 in NYC but they don't come in close in comparison to the beignets at the famous Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans.
There ok however if I want the real I just have to book another flight back to New Orleans.
